The “westy” was already the world’s most exquisitely designed camper van, but with all the upgrades this owner has done (including a Bluetooth stereo), now the van is even better than the original! Sweet Caroline has had a full restoration in and out, but retains her retro charm. Sweet Caroline is a full camper with a sink, stove and fridge and is fully equipped for an adventure with everything you could possibly need. Mechanically she’s been upgraded for performance and reliability, with a Subaru engine that purrs like a kitten. The best part? Shes got an automatic transmission so you don’t have to brush off your manual driving skills. Vanagons are compact, nimble, and drive more like a car than an RV. Cooking & Dining

The kitchen comes with a 2-burner gas stove, sink, 12 gallon water tank, plenty of cabinet space and a 3-way refrigerator (gas, 12V, 120V). We outfit the van with a full set of kitchen ware, everything you need to prepare a meal. While you are cooking, stand up right at the sink and stove and when its time to eat put the dining table in place for comfortable indoor dining setup for 2.

Sleeping

The Back bench seat converts into a bed for two. Yes, technically speaking, the pop-top converts into a second bed, but this van really is best with just two campers. If you have more than two, we recommend you add the tent package for additional passengers (see add-ons when booking). You’ll want the extra space to be comfortable. Trust us!

I can't say enough good things about this company. Van ran great, employees were responsive if we had questions, over all very helpful and a joy to rent from. I have a decent amount of experience living out of a vehicles and I can say they really put a lot of thought into what they provide with their camping package. You don't have to bring anything except your personal stuff. The 3 of us had a wonderful trip. My daughter can't wait to do it again. Thank you road trip Oregon for helping us create great memories!
